Friday comments & graphicsMy son just finished his first quarter at the local Jr College, summer quarter, half the time of the regular quarter.
He took a full load and carried a B average.
He is 40 years old and has gone back to retrain and we are so proud of him.
Way to go Alby.

yay for him. i am five yrs younger and went back 2 yrs ago. kind of weird since ur older. but still feel productive :)
I can;t imagine trying to go back to college. It was a lot of fun yes, but a lot of work too!!!

i went back to college, when i was 48 (got associates degree). very interesting experience; i bet your son had some interesting experiences, too :) very well done, on his part, i know some of what that must have been like.

@SolidStateTheory - Ty and I think any kind of education and retraining is a good thing.
@Aloysius_son - At my age I can not even stand the thought of going back to college and I give my oldest son, age 40, a lot of credit for doing so and being serious about it for retraining for employment.
