Oh that's amazing! I see them frequently but fleetingly. They must be used to you; very cool.
Looks like the fawns still have their spots. They are so pretty.
Oh, how sweet. I wonder why we always think of deer that way. Is it because of Bambi?
cool! from what distance did you take the photos?
Beautiful creatures! Beautiful snapshots too.
Hi Ruth, there are plenty of dear around here--they are beautiful.

What a treat to see such beautiful creatures!
A mommy deer and her babies. How sweet!
So it's venison tonight?
Awww.
Great shots, Ruth -- you must have been far enough away that mom didn't feel threatened by your presence as she fed with her kids. And the deer must be used to people being around -- mom was definitely aware that you were there. Good work!
Beautiful Ruth...we don't have black tailed deer here in Ontario.
Love these pics.
Beautiful :)
Oh, I love deer! Great captures!
beautiful neighbors you have
beautiful creatures!! The sight of them makes life worth living!!
Aww! So precious! :)
@lanney - yes they are very tame here where I live as we all feed them by hand. There is no hunting for miles and they know where to stay to be safe.
@mcbery - ty so very much and yes the fawns still do have their spots. There have been a lot of late births this year and a lot of young fawns going in to Fall. That is rare here.
@ata_grandma - I think they are regal and have always found them to be a blessing.
@fireandicecat - I was right across the road from them when I took the photos.
