Lost It
I am looking for some thing
some where
deep in my soul.
I know it is there
waiting
for me to find it,
or for it to find me.
I had it a long time ago
and left it some where.
With out it
my soul is cold
and dark.
My heart no longer sings
but sits waiting.
Waiting for something lost
that may never be found.

Sometimes when things we have lost in the past can't be regained we have to let go and find something new to help heal and fill that place. I hope you are able to find some way to fill that void. Never let go of the memory-keep it safely in tucked away for those times when you have to go over them again. Been there,,,,,,,,,,,,,
